Paddle dryer is a kind of low speed mixing dryer which is equipped with stirring paddle inside the equipment to make the wet material contact with the heat carrier and the hot surface under the stirring of the blade, so as to achieve the purpose of drying. The structure is usually horizontal, double shaft or four axis. Paddle dryer is divided into hot air and conduction type. The hot air means that the heat carrier (such as hot air) contacts and is dried with the dried material. In the conduction type, the heat carrier does not contact the dry material directly, but the hot surface contacts with the material. The utility model has the advantages that the material is not easy to be polluted, the exhaust quantity is small, the heat efficiency is high, the volume is relatively small, and the utility model is favorable for saving energy and preventing air pollution.
Working principle
Hollow blade to rotate slowly in the drive system under the drive of the material into the machine from the feed inlet, the slow rotation of the hollow blade transported to the outlet. The material is dried at the same time by the heating of the hollow blade and jacket. Because the hollow blade is wedge-shaped, rotates so that the material is compressed (alternately in the wedge inclined plane) and expansion (in wedge gap), so that the heat transfer on the surface of the material movement is intense, but also strengthen self cleaning effect on the heat transfer surfaces, thereby greatly improving the heat transfer coefficient. The heat medium used for drying may be steam, heat conducting oil, or hot water. The heat medium passes through the rotary joint into the hollow shaft and the blade. When the heat medium is changed into cooling water, the machine is an ideal powder cooling equipment.
